Singer Dennis Lyxzen and bassist David Sandstrom - formerly of Sweden's Refused, one of the most innovative and influential bands of the '90s - have reunited, but AC4 is clearly a hardcore band: old-school, stripped-down, influenced by early-'80s American bands, and apparently minus the radical sonic tinkering and texturing of Refused.
